This site, your account and DevLife

In short

These terms apply to this site, to your Mafyou IT account and to the DevLife subscription. By creating your account, you accept them, together with the privacy policy, which says what your account keeps and what becomes of your data.

Who runs the service

The service

• This site, mafyouit.tech: the binder of the Mafyou IT apps, their pages and their policies, the DevLife offer, the help and beta test forms.
• The Mafyou IT account: one account for this site and for the member area of the apps.
• The member area of six apps: Commandements, Fit Chronos, Boost Your Mind, Quizz IA, Fast Notes and Mensu Tracker, in their Android version. It is not offered in their iPhone version.
• The DevLife subscription, which unlocks the Premium of these six apps, backs up their data to your account and gathers your figures in your member area.

The apps are downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. Each has its own privacy policy, linked from its page in the binder.

Your account

• Creating it: on this site or in the member area of an app. You need an e-mail address that is yours: we send it a link to open to confirm your address before you first sign in. Give accurate information.
• Your username is unique and shows in your member area and in our e-mails: it must not pretend to be someone else, nor be offensive.
• It is yours alone: do not share it and do not lend it.
• Your password stays secret. Five mistakes lock the account for 15 minutes. If you think someone knows it, change it with "Forgot password" and write to us.
• In case of abuse (see what you agree not to do), Mafyou IT may deactivate your account: your apps no longer sync to it. If you think it is a mistake, write to contact@mafyouit.tech.
• Deleting it: whenever you want, on this site (member area → "Delete my account") or in the member area of an app, on Android. You are asked for your password again. What your apps synced is erased, your DevLife subscription paid through Stripe ends at once, and you receive a confirmation e-mail. The details are in the privacy policy.

The DevLife subscription

DevLife unlocks the Premium of the six apps of the member area, backs up their data to your account and gathers your figures in your member area. The details, app by app, are on the DevLife page.

• In the apps: the Premium of an app turns on when you sign in to it with your account and the sync succeeds. On iPhone there is no member area: DevLife unlocks nothing there.
• Free trial: 7 days, once per account, without a bank card. It stops by itself: nothing is charged, your apps go back to their free version, and your data stays in your apps and on your account.
• Price: €9.99 a month, or €95.99 a year. The amount is shown again on the payment page, before you pay.
• Payment: through Stripe, on its secure payment page: your card never goes through Mafyou IT. The subscription starts on the day you pay; if your trial is still running, it stops that day.
• Renewal: the subscription renews by itself at each due date, every month or every year depending on your plan, until you cancel it. Stripe then charges the means of payment you gave. On the yearly plan, an email tells you one to two months before the due date, with the link to cancel.
• Payment declined: if a payment fails, DevLife stops until the payment goes through. If Stripe ends the subscription, it does not come back by itself: you need to subscribe again.
• Cancelling: at any time, in two clicks, from your member area → "Cancel my subscription". The renewal is stopped: you keep DevLife until the end of the period already paid for, then it stops, with no further charge or fee. An email confirms the cancellation and the day it takes effect. You can also write to us from the help and support page or at contact@mafyouit.tech.
• Deleting your account ends the subscription at Stripe at once: no further charge, and DevLife stops straight away.

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days, from the day you subscribe to DevLife, to withdraw, without giving any reason.

• How: send us a clear statement, by e-mail at contact@mafyouit.tech or through the help and support page, before the 14 days are over. You may use the form below.
• What happens: the subscription stops, and we refund what you paid for it, no later than 14 days after receiving your request, with the same means of payment, at no cost to you.
• The free trial costs nothing: there is nothing to refund, and it stops by itself.

Purchases in the apps

The Premium of an app, its subscriptions, the coffees and the credits bought in an app are sold by Google Play or by the App Store, under their own terms: that is where you pay, manage these subscriptions and ask for a refund.

These purchases are not recorded on your Mafyou IT account. A Premium bought in an app stays yours, with or without DevLife.

What you agree not to do

• Use the site, the apps or their servers for anything illegal.
• Try to get into someone else's account or data, or into our servers other than through the site and the apps.
• Get around the protections: limits on attempts, lockouts, accounts created one after another to chain free trials.
• Flood the forms (sign-up, help, beta test) or the servers with automated requests.
• Send unlawful, offensive or malicious content through the forms.

What the apps give you

The site and the apps are provided as they are. We keep improving them, but they may contain mistakes.

• The questions and answers of Quizz IA, the answers of Iceberg and the messages of Boost Your Mind come from external services (Mistral AI, OpenAI, DeepSeek, xAI): they may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check before relying on them.
• Mensu Tracker is not a medical device: its charts do not replace the advice of a doctor or a vet.
• Fit Chronos and Boost Your Mind are not medical, sports or psychological advice from a professional: listen to your body, and ask a professional when in doubt.
• What you write in the apps and in the forms is your own responsibility.

Availability

We do our best to keep the site, the accounts and the sync running without interruption, but cannot guarantee it: maintenance, an update or an outage at a provider (Microsoft Azure, Stripe, Mailjet…) may interrupt them. What your apps keep on your phone stays available in the meantime.

Mafyou IT keeps changing the site and the apps: a feature may be added, changed or removed.

Liability

• Mafyou IT is liable for the direct damage you suffer because of a breach of these terms, within the limits set by law.
• Mafyou IT is not liable for what comes from your own doing (a password given to someone, misuse), from a third party or from force majeure.
• Nothing in these terms reduces the rights the law gives you as a consumer, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code), nor the liability of Mafyou IT for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Intellectual property

• The site and the apps, their texts, pictures, icons and code belong to Mafyou IT. You may use them for your own personal use, not copy, resell or republish them without our consent.
• Two apps have open code: OBD, published under the MIT licence at github.com/Mafyou/OBD, and AuraMusic, whose code is public at github.com/Mafyou/AuraMusic. For their code, what their repository says applies.
• What you create in the apps (notes, measurements, sessions…) stays yours. You only allow Mafyou IT to keep it and show it to you, to run the sync and your member area.

A complaint, a dispute

First write to contact@mafyouit.tech or use the help and support page: we look for a solution with you.

If we do not find a solution together, you can refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator Mafyou IT belongs to, within one year of your written complaint:

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring the matter before the competent court, including the one where you live.

Updates to this page

These terms may change, for instance when the service changes. The date at the top of the page says when they last changed. A change does not affect the subscription period already paid for.
